21. SHORT TRIP: Onondaga Limestone Escarpment (UB South Campus)

I had some time today between teaching in Tonawanda and tutoring on UB South Campus and was walking along the Onondaga Escarpment  at the base of Goodyear Hall and never realized there was a nice outcrop of the Onondaga Limestone:

I was also snooping around the old Bennett Quarry off of Amherst Street and saw an old giant satellite dish in the woods past the gate.

I followed the escarpment back behind Buffalo United Charter School on to Amherst Street near the Old Bennett Quarry behind Bennett High School.
