Eternal Flame Falls
On Friday, May 30, 2025, I trekked to Eternal Flame Falls at Chestnut Ridge Park in Orchard Park, NY.
The Hanover Shale was very soft almost like a mud-stone.
The Hemlock Grove in the uplands were amazing! The tannin from the Hemlocks turned the rocks, water (Shale Creek) and even soils reddish-brown.
